September strikes again, leaving most New Englanders with the dreaded cold virus. I am no exception. The coughing, sneezing, sore throat, and occasional head aches look so pathetic on others. But they become some unfathomable, dreaded, disease when warring against your own beloved health.
I was doing some research on this subject and found a rather disturbing statement. Apparently, there is no cure for the common cold. Thankfully, it’s not anywhere close to life threatening.
I’m not a common cold doctor, but my classic go-to is tea. The herbs in your tea bag can help sooth headaches, the hot water is good for your throat, and the over all relaxation of sipping tea can relieve stress. Tea fixes everything.
So next time you have a cold, curl up in a warm blanket, grab some tissues, fix yourself tea and read a book.
